5 Bizarre Beauty Trends of 2017 (that’s not too late to try)

Every new year brings with it new trends and 2017 is no different. Although 2017 is almost over, and boy was it a doozy, the beauty trends did not disappoint. 2017 has brought us some bizarre beauty trends that made us go -woah!

Check out the 5 bizarre beauty trends of 2017 to try before year’s end.

Lets dive right into our first trend.

  1. FEATHER/BRAIDED/WAVY BROWS

This trend seeks new ways to carve the perfect arch. So long to the perfectly manicured brows of yester-year. This year is all about the weirdly artistic, wild, unkempt and down right goofy brows.

2. PLUMP LIPS

Alright so a certain famous Jenner might have catapulted this trend to fame however there have always been women, mainly women of color, who have always rocked this look naturally. The bizarre part about this trend is the length people went to get these smackers (remember the Kylie Jenner lip challenge? ouch!)

Instead checkout this natural way to plump your lips, from  Instagram DIY star @FarahDhukai, using wasabi sauce– yeah….we know.

3. UNICORN HAIR

Need we say anything more? Didn’t think so. Check out this quick tutorial on the look.

4. FAUX FRECKLES

This adorable look is undoubtedly my favorite. The faux freckles look tries to naturally create a sun kissed freckled look for those who weren’t genetically blessed or without the sun damage .

Below are three ways to recreate the look.

5. EMBELLISHED NAILS

Nail art has always been a great way to express creativity. The embellished nail trend doesn’t disappoint. This nail trend includes the mermaid nails, pierced nails, holographic nails and finally the 100+ coats of nail polish. Check them out.
